Dear Future Self

Dear Future Self,

Today is August 3, 2017, and there are some changes I will make and actions I will take that will greatly benefit you. I want you to be living your best life ever and I know there are things I must do to get you there.

For the next three months I am going to do the following things for me now, and you:

  • Consistently attend my therapy sessions (no more eight-month hiatuses)
  • Stick with a mostly-paleo diet (mostly because restricting myself only leads to binging)
  • Work out at least three times a week (you got this, that’s nothing for you)
  • Work to eliminate negative self-talk (POSITIVE VIBES ONLY BIH, wait.. is “bih” negative? lol)

Your happiness and quality of life is important and I will make sure you are in the best shape possible for you. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.

The workout 3 times a day is what l need to do! It should be so easy. The park is right in front of our flat..but l always have one reason. Heat!!! By the time it cools off in the evening, I still make excuses :-). Thanks for the reminder to just do it! 🙂

Cool! I think your future self would thank you for doing this. I think my future self would thank present day me if I was more mindful of my food and exercise.

This is a great idea! I’m right there with you regarding the food, exercise and positive vibes only. I have an event coming up with a few women this idea would be great for the group to do.

I love this. I came up with a commitment list for myself as well. Working out and eating healthy are two things on my list.

Several item on your list, really go hand-in-hand: exercising and eating a fresh paleo diet. The exercise also helps release endorphins to help us relieve stress. I wish you the best on accomplishing these goals.
